Kevin P. Shiley is on the faculty of Brigham Young University Idaho, teaching Intro to International Business, The Developing World, Consumer Behavior and Marketing Research. Coordinator of the senior integrated marketing emphasis. He is currently developing an NGO Management Course for the International studies major. Kevin served as Business Management Department Chair from 1999 to 2004- during the transition to BYU-Idaho. In 2004, he lived in Arequipa, Peru and was Visiting Professor at Universidad Catolica de Santa Maria, a Consultant for the International Alpaca Association and an Instructor for LDS Employment Resource Services, teaching self employment and career workshops. (All in the Spanish language). He returned to Lima 2006 to teach a marketing seminar to small business owners in Lima. He has led student groups to Mexico on six occasions between 1995 and 2007, and participated in the January 2009 CIBER-sponsored expedition to China. Prior to teaching, he had 12 years of marketing management experience in the consumer foods industry, including General Mills. Mr. Shiley holds an MBA in International Marketing and a BA in Broadcast Communication, both from BYU.
